How Z Bridge works.
Trading fees fund automatic rewards for holders, paid in native ZEC. You hold tokens in your own wallet — there is no staking deposit and no claim transaction.
Of each project’s distributable reward revenue, 90% goes to eligible holders of that token and 10% to eligible holders of the platform token. Follow your own rewards on the dashboard.
- 01
Trading generates fees
A share of each project’s trading fees is set aside as reward revenue.
- 02
Revenue becomes ZEC
Fees are collected in ETH and converted into native ZEC. Collection, funding, and payment are separate stages.
- 03
Holders are paid directly
Eligible holders receive scheduled ZEC payments to their registered Zcash address.
Who qualifies?
Holding is passive: keep tokens in your own wallet and they can qualify for reward rounds. Amounts are tracked separately, so you can hold 1,500 tokens while only 1,000 are eligible for the next round.
| Opening round | The first scheduled round is ten minutes after a token launches. Purchases during those opening ten minutes can qualify for it. |
|---|---|
| Buy at minute 9 | Can qualify for the minute-10 round. |
| Buy at minute 12 | Skips the next round — first qualifies at minute 30. |
| Buying more | Does not make your older eligible holdings start waiting again. |
Reward rounds
Rounds are scheduled roughly ten minutes apart, starting when a token launches. A newly acquired amount skips the next scheduled round and qualifies for the following one.
A scheduled boundary is not a guarantee that a confirmed Zcash payment appears at that exact second: actual funding, processing, and confirmation still apply.
Selling and transfers
Outgoing amounts consume your newest acquisitions first. Only the affected qualifying portion loses its pending reward rights. A transfer creates fresh eligibility for the receiver, and buying back does not restore forfeited rights to an older pending round.
A round stays sensitive to departures until its recorded processing cutoff. After the cutoff, finalized rewards remain yours — selling later does not erase them, and neither does a missing registration, an amount below the payment minimum, or a payment still being processed.
Payments and the $5 minimum
Payments are automatic. A new payment authorization needs at least $5 worth of accumulated finalized ZEC for your holder wallet, counted across its project and platform rewards — not a separate threshold per token.
Two holder wallets do not share a threshold just because they registered the same Zcash destination. Below-minimum amounts are not lost or redistributed; they remain owed. The first round uses the same minimum: an opening holder with $2 of earned ZEC keeps it and receives a transaction once accumulation reaches the minimum.
Your Zcash address
The one setup action is registering a Zcash receiving address on the dashboard — one destination per holder wallet, shared across Z Bridge.
| Public and permanent | The registered address is intentionally public and cannot be edited, reset, or replaced. |
|---|---|
| Only you authorize it | Only the holder wallet signs its own registration. There is no operator override, and nothing ever asks for a seed phrase or viewing key. |
| Not required to earn | You earn eligible rewards without registering. Registration is required before rewards can be delivered. |
| After signing | A registration moves from pending to recorded to ready as it is observed on-chain. A timeout is not proof of failure. |
Follow your rewards
The dashboard is personal to the connected wallet:
| Pending rewards | Provisional allocations that can still change until each round’s processing cutoff. |
|---|---|
| Earned, unpaid | Finalized ZEC you own that has not yet been completed as a payment. |
| ZEC received | Completed payments to your registered address. |
| Holdings | Balance held, the eligible amount, and any newer amount still waiting for its round. |
| Payments | Each completed payment with its receipt. |
Check a payment yourself
Open any payment from the dashboard’s Payments tab. Its detail page shows the exact ZEC amount, the registered destination, the Zcash transaction reference, and the reward sources the payment combined — one payment is never counted once per source.
The public registry proves which destination a holder authorized. It does not by itself prove a payment arrived; that is what the payment receipt is for.
Launching a token
Anyone can launch a token with the fixed 2% creator-fee profile and an optional initial buy. Purchased tokens go to your wallet in the launch transaction — the initial buy is not a payment into a rewards balance and does not register a Zcash address.
Creators do not get fee-routing or reward-split controls. 90% of the token’s distributable reward revenue goes to its eligible holders, 10% to platform-token holders — see the platform pool.
A few common questions
Do I need to stake or claim?
No. Hold tokens in your own wallet. Rewards are allocated automatically, and payments are delivered automatically once your wallet has a registered address and reaches the minimum.
I just bought — when do I qualify?
During a token’s opening ten minutes, purchases can qualify for its first round. After that, a new amount skips the next scheduled round and qualifies for the following one.
I sold after a round finalized — do I keep the reward?
Yes. Rewards finalized before their round’s processing cutoff remain yours, even if you later sell everything, are unregistered, or are below the $5 minimum.
Why hasn’t my payment arrived?
Delivery needs a registered Zcash address and at least $5 of accumulated finalized ZEC for your wallet, and real funding, processing, and confirmation still take time. Below-minimum amounts remain owed.
Is my registered Zcash address private?
No. Registration is public and permanent for that holder wallet. Several wallets may register the same address, but their holdings and rewards stay separate.
